Healing is scary.
It takes vulnerability and courage to take steps into the unfamiliar and putting faith into something that you don’t know will work. One of the things I love about group therapy is that you don’t have to do it alone. Group enables you to make changes and try out new ways of living by learning from each other.
Currently offering:
Fundamentals of Body Image Healing
Join us for this 6-week group coaching program to help you cultivate kinder body talk and begin to break-free from body shame. This group will be facilitated by 2 eating disorders specialists (psychologist and dietitian) and will be Virtual. Open to adult women who have rejected diet culture but still experience distress about their body/body size. Group size will be kept small to really foster a sense of community and connection among participants. Your relationships with food and your body do not have to be this way. You can heal these relationships with conscious effort. Can you imagine eating for pleasure, nourishment, and in alignment with your body’s needs? Rejecting a diet mentality and respecting your body? Practicing balance and flexibility in your eating?
You are not alone. And you can work on transforming your relationships with food and your body while supporting and being supported by others who can understand in a safe space. If these speak to you, you want to heal, break from isolation and connect to others in recovery and in community, then this group is for you!
